The Mallett Brothers Band will return to Bangor this spring.

It's refreshing seeing a return to live music, even if on a smaller scale. The Mallett Brothers will return to Bangor as a trio June 4 and 5. The socially distant shows at Bangor Arts Exchange features band members Luke Mallett, Will Mallett and Nick Leen. Tickets are on-sale now. Tickets are non-refundable.

BAE will be following all current gathering capacity restrictions, plus state and CDC safety and distancing guidelines. The venue says: "All seats are GA Seated. Patrons will be shown to their table when they arrive, which helps us maintain distancing in the room between parties. A group may be up to 4 people who have chosen to attend the event together, and who will be seated or stand together at a cocktail table, depending on the show."

Bangor Arts Exchange is located at 193 Exchange Street, in Downtown Bangor.

Recent works from The Mallett Brothers Band includes an excellent live album, released last year. If you've seen a live show from the band, this record showcases their stage talent perfectly. The album, Live In Portland, Maine, features 12 popular tracks from the band's extensive catalog.

Track Listing:

  • Too Much Trouble
  • Long Black Braid
  • Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down
  • Onawa
  • Tennessee
  • The Falling Of The Pine
  • Rocking Chair
  • Walk Down The River
  • Tip Up
  • Don't Need You
  • Headed Home
  • Fortunate Son

The album has extra sentimental value, as it was recorded at Port City Music Hall in Portland. Back in July the venue closed their doors permanently, unable to survive COVID-19 shutdowns. The venue hosted shows featuring local bands, to national touring acts.
