A Bangor man is facing drug charges after reports of gunshots in the Capehart neighborhood.

Who Was Arrested?

Toman Caudill, 38, of Bangor was arrested at around 4:00 Sunday afternoon after the Bangor Police were called to Rangely Place in Capehart.

What Happened?

Sergeant Jason McAmbley says callers reported hearing a gunshot. The witnesses said a black male had allegedly fired a round from a handgun and that he had then allegedly pointed that gun at another male. Witnesses gave police a description of what the man was wearing and also gave a description of a female who was with the suspect. There are no reports of any injuries in this incident.

Police Officers located Caudill and the female where callers said they would be. A firearm was recovered by authorities and officials say Caudill was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.

He was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Aggravated reckless conduct
  • Criminal threatening
  • Unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Caudill was transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
