
Bangor Maine Police Ask for Information About a Wanted Man
Bangor Police are asking for the public's help locating a Brewer man after searching a Webster Avenue home.
Brewer, Maine Man Wanted by Bangor Police
Sheldon Wray, 35, of Brewer, is wanted by police for an incident last month. Officials didn't release any information about the incident that sparked the charges.

Bangor Police Searched a Home On Webster Avenue But Didn't Find the Suspect
Bangor Police Sergeant Jason McAmbley says the department's Special Response Team and Criminal Investigations Division served a search warrant at a home on Webster Avenue Monday, June 2, 2025, in an attempt to find Sheldon Wray.

Brewer, Maine Man Wanted on Multiple Counts of Aggravated Assault
Police went to the home to find Wray, and rumors on social media of a police stand-off at the Webster Avenue home were false, according to McAmbley.
Wray currently has active arrest warrants for these charges:
- Multiple counts of aggravated assault
- 2 counts of domestic violence aggravated assault
- Assault
- Violation of the conditions of release.
Bangor Police are looking for Wray to take him into custody.
