A Bangor man was arrested by the police for the alleged abuse of a juvenile.

Henry Osei, 41, of Bangor, was arrested on March 12th for domestic violence assault.
Bangor Police Sergeant Jeremy Brock said in a media release that the Criminal Investigation Division and Department of Health and Human Services had initiated an investigation into the suspected abuse of the juvenile.
Bangor, Maine Police Say a Local Man is Accused of Abusing a Child in His Household
Officials say Osei had allegedly abused the child with a wooden dowel on State Street in Bangor.
The victim and Osei are household members.

On Wednesday, Osei was arrested and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
