Bangor Police Arrest a Massachusetts Man on Drug Trafficking Charges
Damian Quinones, 23, of Worcester, Massachusetts is facing multiple charges, including aggravated trafficking of a scheduled drug.
A Bangor Traffic Stop Led to the Seizure of a Substantial Amount of Meth
Bangor Police Sergeant Jason McAmbley says Officer Michael Blakely stopped a truck in a business parking area on Main Street a little after two o'clock Saturday morning. The vehicle's registration stickers prompted the stop after Blakely noticed and confirmed that the registration had expired in May of 2024. Still, the stickers on the plate showed the expiration as November 2024. It was later determined that it was a falsely attached sticker.
Officer Blakely checked Quinones' history and learned that he had never been licensed and that his privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Maine was suspended. He was taken into custody and then officials searched his truck, seizing a substantial amount of methamphetamine. Based on the amount of drugs located and Quinones' previous convictions, he was charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
