One Man Injured, One Faces Charges for a Shooting in Cornish
An interaction between two men in a parking lot in Cornish resulted in a man suffering gunshot wounds and another taken into custody.
A New Hampshire Man Faces Charges for the Shooting
Sean Ambrose, 40, of Canterbury, New Hampshire is charged with reckless conduct with a firearm. Eric Letendre, 44, of West Baldwin was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Officials Say the Maine Man's Injuries are Non-Life-Threatening
Maine State Police Troopers were called to the Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub restaurant in Cornish at approximately 2:30 Tuesday afternoon for a report of gunshots. When they arrived, they found Ambrose and Letendre in the parking lot. Letendre had two gunshot wounds that were determined to be non-life-threatening. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Troopers at the scene applied a tourniquet while waiting for rescue workers to arrive. Mr. Letendre was then transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland via Life Flight.
Police Are Now Investigating What Led Up to the Shooting
Ambrose was arrested and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm and then taken to the York County Jail. Letendre and Ambrose know each other. Police are now investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
