Maine Teen Allegedly Shot 2 People, Stabbed Another In Auburn
An 18-year-old from Auburn is facing charges for allegedly shooting two people and stabbing a third during a house party.

Chase Snow, 18, of Auburn is charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, elevated aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and aggravated reckless conduct.

The Shootings and Stabbing in Auburn Took Place At a House Party on Smith Street
The charges stem from an incident at a party held over the weekend at 45 Smith Street in Auburn. Initial calls to the Auburn Police Department at 3:20 Saturday morning reported a stabbing and gunshot wounds. When officers arrived at the home, they found that two people had been shot while a third person had been stabbed. All three victims are males, two of whom are adults, while one is a juvenile. All three victims were taken to Central Maine Medical Center, where they were listed in serious but stable condition.
Auburn Police say an initial investigation indicates that the group had been partying at the Smith Street home throughout the evening when a fight broke out. Chase Snow reportedly stabbed one of the victims before firing on the other two. Snow was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.
Two People at the Auburn Home Face Charges for Allowing Minors to Drink
A mother and son also face charges in connection with this incident:
- Wendy Day, 57, of Auburn
- Daniel Day, 19, of Auburn
They both live at 45 Smith Street and are charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
This incident remains under investigation and additional charges are possible.
