Give this some thought. Especially if you have young kids. There's a grass roots movement underway to change the day of Halloween to the last Saturday in October. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Why are we loyal to the 31st since we're using the date to go door-to-door for the young kids in costumes for candy? Wouldn't it be better on the weekend?  Other "holidays" move around, meaning not sticking to a certain calendar date.

Maybe it's time for Halloween to be the last Saturday of October.
