Tonight,  Keith Urban will be hosting an ACM Awards ceremony unlike any before it.

Delayed five months. Moved to Nashville for the first time ever. Taking place in 3 separate venues. No in person audience. Media doing press from home. Minimum staff at each venue.

It all adds up to one truly unique, unprecedented event.

"Yeah, unique is the understatement, isn't it?" Urban says with a chuckle. "I don't know what I'm walking into, and that's okay with me”

No pressure for the first time ACM Awards host, right?

Relax and Have fun Keith. And no matter what, Cindy loves you.

When Maren Morris takes the stage at the 2020 ACM Awards tonight, it'll be her first big awards show performance since giving birth to her son, Hayes Andrew Hurd, in late March. She's hoping he'll be able to watch the special moment, too.

"I don't know what time in the show I am, but he can stay up a little late to watch Mom," Morris tells Taste of Country Nights, even though "I don't think it's quite registered [to him] that the people in the TV are real." Maren.  He’s only 6 months old. That’s more pressure than Keith has on his shoulders.

Yesterday I commented that I thought Garth might have won the ACM Entertainer of the Year , but was happy with Miranda winning.

Garth Brooks is a seven-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner, but he says he'll refuse any more trophies. In July, the megastar decided to pull his name out of the running for the prestigious award, and he says it was really one tweet that pushed him to do it.

"We got killed pretty bad last time we won here," Brooks admits in an interview with People (the TV Show!), reflecting on the backlash he received on social media after he was named Entertainer of the Year again at the the 2019 CMA Awards.

Might be why no ACM Award too.
