A New Hampshire Concert Venue Could Win An ACM Award
A New Hampshire venue could score a ACM Award this weekend.
Once again the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire is nominated for a big award in the Country world. The venue has an ACM nomination for Medium Capacity Venue of the Year. Other nominees include Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, The Wharf Amphitheater in Alabama and The Anthem in Washington, DC.
The New Hampshire venue was nominated for a 2018 CMA Touring Award for Venue of the Year. The honor ultimately went to 'The Mother Church,' the home of the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Last year, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena took the honor.
Bangor's Darling's Waterfront Pavilion was twice nominated for a similar award in 2014 and 2016. The venue was twice nominated for an ACM Award for Large Capacity Venue of the Year.
The ACM Awards will be handed out Sunday, April 7, on CBS.
