The Ford Bronco is coming back, and customers are lining up to get their hands on one.

Here's probably the most famous Ford Bronco in history, from 1994, owned by Al Cowlings, former good friend and team mate of O.J. Simpson. Ford stopped manufacturing the Bronco a few years later.

Fast forward to 2021. Last Thursday in an earnings call Ford announced that interest in Broncos has surpassed the company's most optimistic projections. More than 150,000 customers have paid $100 to reserve a spot to order the 2021 Ford Bronco.

Looks very little like the famous Bronco from 25 years ago.

If you're a car fan, what car do you wish would come  back?  I'm thinking people have a fondness for their first cars, or maybe cars they dreamed of owning when they were young teenagers. My first car was a 1976 Triumph Spitfire. Please don't bring it back. As a guy who owned one said to me when we were both sitting in stopped traffic, each of our car's over heating, "We spend more time under these cars, than in them driving".

Here's an earlier version of the Spit, this from 1962.

Imaging driving that car in a Maine winter, ha ha.  Good luck with that.

I've had a lot of cars since. And although I'm not a 'car freak' it's always interesting to see new models come out, and observe the evolution of all vehicles.
