Residents of Calais, Bangor, and New York are facing charges after a drug bust at a Washington County home.

Who Was Arrested?

Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say a complaint of threatening led to an investigation Sunday into a potential drug possession bail violation. A search was conducted at a Lafayette Street home, where three people were arrested.

The suspects in this case are:

  • Stephen Perkins, 32, of Calais, charged with aggravated drug trafficking, criminal threatening, and illegal possession of firearms.
  • Devin Madigan, 28, of Bangor, charged with aggravated drug trafficking
  • Kaprie Lambert, 25, of New York, charged with aggravated drug trafficking

Bail for Lambert and Madigan was set at $5,000 each. Perkins is being held without bail.

What Was Seized in the Search?

The Washington County Sheriff's Office seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine base in that search, with an approximate street value of $46,000. Officials also seized three firearms, $2,700 in suspected drug proceeds, and more evidence of alleged drug trafficking.

Sheriff Barry Curtis says more charges are possible in this case.
