1st Annual BBQ Cook Off in Skowhegan

Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce presents their First Annual Central Maine BBQ Cook-Off Competition on Father’s Day weekend.

If you’re a BBQ master and want to enter you have to get registered now.  Deadline is Monday.

The BBQ Cook Off, June 18^th and 19^th will take place at the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds and is open to all levels of BBQers. From Masters to Backyarders.

And oh the food. Both days of the competition the event will be open to the public with lots of food.  Lots and Lots of food. Including the BBQers, plus food trucks and vendors. Plus a variety of family activities.

Smell that air. A steak competition. A kids burger grilling competition. The First Responders Challenge with chicken wings. And since the event is Friday evening and all day Saturday into evening, Dad can be back in the Lazy Boy on Sunday. All day.
