Why Is There A Rock In The Q-106.5 News Studio? [VIDEO]

I've added lots of personal touches to the Q-106.5 News Room, but it's the rock on the windowsill that gets the most questions.

The News Studio is the closest thing I have to an office. When I'm not on the air, it's where you'll find me, either recording interviews for our Sunday morning program, 'Maine Concerns,' editing interviews, or writing posts for the website, like this one. I've tried to make it a personal space, with a few mementos that will make me smile, even while I'm reporting on terrible stories.

But my favorite keepsake in the room is my rock. It sits on my windowsill, in the sun, and reminds me of some very specific summer fun days. Check out the video to find out what's so special about a little gray rock.
