My son's fiance once directed a play that centered around a dog, portrayed by an actress. It was funny on stage when the "dog" walked in circles before lying down, or rubbed her head against her owner's legs. But think about it...how creepy would it be if our pets were actually human? The first time a pet catches their own reflection is always funny. Pernicus will bark at his reflection in the mirror. Although, to be honest, we're not sure if he's barking at himself or at me standing behind him! This cat doesn't say a word....but is obviously fascinated by what she sees!
