Netflix Series ‘Bloodline’ Was Worth 13 Hours Of My Life [VIDEO]

For those who enjoy a good binge-watch the new Netflix series Bloodline may keep you entertained through your next marathon couch surfing session. The thriller-drama TV series premiered in its entirety on Netflix last week.

It's about a well-respected, but secretly dark and dysfunctional family from the Florida Keys. Trouble starts when Danny, the black sheep of the family, comes home for a family event. Danny had been treated as an outcast since a childhood accident that took the life of his younger sister.

He eventually gets caught using the family business in a drug smuggling operation. He sees that as the perfect opportunity to ruin his family's name and get back at them for all those years of mistreatment.

The family must now decide between protecting the family name or protecting an actual member of the family. You throw in all those old emotional scars from the death of Danny's sister and this family is a mess.

Solid performances from Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Place Beyond the Pines, Killing Them Softly), Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks), Sissy Spacek (Carrie, Coal Miner's Daughter) and Sam Shepard (The Right Stuff).

Reviews have been positive but several critics have noted that the series gets off to a slow start. Give it a couple episodes. At the very least you wont hate it.
