To many, this may seem like a no-brainer. But, never in all my life, have I ever had my driveway plowed. Until yesterday. Normally, owning a snowblower in a storm like the one we just had, means having to go out several times to get the snow cleared out, or spend hours trying to do it all at once. It's a necessary evil for a lot of us.

But my wife and I just bought a new over the holiday season, and our new driveway is gigantic compared to our last one. At our last house, it was maybe 35 feet long, and about 20 feet wide. My new driveway is circular, and if you added it all up, it's probably 100 linear feet. and easily as wide as my last driveway. So it's pretty much three times the size. And since a plow guy kind of just fell in our laps, we decided to go for it.

I have to say, I didn't think about the snow once yesterday. I just cooked a bunch of food, continued removing old linoleum from our floors, and generally didn't really care what was going on outside. I didn't have to be anywhere, or do anything specific. And it was honestly, one of the greatest weights lifted off my chest, ever.

It may not seem like much to some people. Maybe you've grown up with plowing, maybe you love to snow blow or shovel. But me? I will probably always have a plow guy from now on. Call me lazy, call me whatever. But I will now always enjoy watching someone else deal with my snow.
