I Get My Science Knowledge From Sheldon Cooper [VIDEO]

As I was reading the news this week, I came to a sobering conclusion. Much of what I know about science, I've learned watching 'The Big Bang Theory.' I love that show! And when a certain scientific theory won a big award this week, it reminded me of when I heard about it on the show.

Francois Englert and Peter W. Higgs won the 2013 Nobel Prize for Physics this week for their research into the Higgs Boson Particle.The Higgs Boson is also known as the "God Particle" and the nature of it is pretty interesting, as explained on CNN's website.

But,until I wrote this article, the only thing I knew about the Higgs Boson Particle is that Penny couldn't guess it when playing Pictionary with Sheldon. Watch the video to see Penny struggle the same way we all would have. Did I mention that I love this show?!
