A golf tournament is planned for this Friday in Lincoln, and proceeds from the event will help Children's Miracle Network Hospitals!

The 20th Annual Log-A-Load for Maine Kids Golf Tournament is scheduled for this Friday, September 16th at the JATO Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln. Golfers are encouraged to sign up and join the fun, and help sick kids around the state through CMNH.

Registration begins at 7:30 and the shotgun start is at 9. The tournament has a scramble format with 4-person teams, and will cover 18 holes. Then, at the end of the contest, the awards will be given out, and contestants are invited to a celebratory barbecue!

The rain or shine event's registration fee covers the cost of the greens fees, a cart, and even a polo shirt. For more information and to register online, log onto the website for Eastern Maine Healthcare.

CMNH makes donations to hospitals so they can use it where it's needed most in the care of children. So, it might help pay for a new Neo-natal intensive care unit (like at EMMC) or help purchase much-needed testing equipment. It's a great cause and a fun way to help out!
