Dog Meets New Baby for the First Time [VIDEO]

Yes, this is a sweet video of someone's family dog meeting the brand new baby for the first time. But are the parents aware of what the dog was licking before he started licking the baby?! 

As a certified germ-a-phobe, I find this video a bit more on the gross side than cute. If it were me I'd let the dog sniff the baby, but that's about it.
