‘Dirty Jobs’ Host Mike Rowe’s Dog Looks Like Mine! [VIDEO]

I happened across a video today from 'Dirty Jobs' host Mike Rowe about dog collars that don't do the job. The video was entertaining, but what really struck me was the dog! Freddie looks a LOT like my Copernicus! And Pernicus is a very unusual breed.

Let me warn you, right up front, that the subject of this video is Sh#!@y collars. So if that word offends you, you might want to watch with the sound off, just to see how much Rowe's dog looks like mine. But I encourage you to turn the sound up and listen to his tirade against collars that don't do the job. He's absolutely right!

Now, if you have a Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, or some other more common breed of dog, you're probably wondering why I'm so excited to see a famous dog that looks like mine. Well, it's because Copernicus is a Jack Russell terrier/Chocolate Lab mix. That's not something you see everyday! Freddie has some longer facial whiskers than Pernicus, which is actually more like Perni's Daddy. But the fact is, they look a lot alike! I guess now I have to start watching Rowe's video feature, 'Fridays With Freddie.' Or maybe I should start making my own....'Ponderings of Pernicus!'
