Daryl Dixon of ‘The Walking Dead’ is Bitten!

I was panicked when I read that Norman Reedus had been bitten! I mean, Daryl is my favorite character on 'The Walking Dead!' Then I thought, it must have been by a dog. Nope. It was a human bite!

According to Yahoo! Celebrity, Reedus was at a Walker Talker Con in Seacaucus, New Jersey over the weekend. The conventions give avid fans a chance to meet the actors and spend time with other program lovers.

Reedus and his co-star Michael Rooker, who played Daryl's brother Merle on the show, were greeting guests when they met a woman who was a little too enthusiastic. She seemed normal enough at first, although she did tell Reedus that she often fantasizes that they're married. But, for an actor who portrays a much-beloved character like Daryl, that's probably not that unusual.

But then it was time to take the inevitable fan picture. The three posed together when, just as the camera was about to flash, the woman turned and bit Reedus on the chest! Rooker reportedly turned and said, 'What the (bleep) was that?!' The woman was escorted away by security. She later posted on Instagram that 'she lost her mind.'

Reedus said he's not going to press charges because she didn't break the skin. As for the woman, she lamented that she'd finally met the love of her life, and she got kicked out of the convention because she bit him. But, hey, she had an experience that no one else has. She bit Daryl!
