New to the Blue Hill Fair this year is a Maine Blueberry Decorated Wreath.

And it’s a competition.

And entries will be taken beginning tomorrow and also on Thursday, and Friday up until Noon.

Hours for entries on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until Noon.

Judging of the Maine Blueberry Decorated wreaths will begin Friday at 1 p.m.

Wreaths are certainly a ‘staple’ in the Pine Tree State, and last year at the Blue Hill Fair they debuted a Balsam Maine Made Wreath competition and it is back for year two.

Entries for both wreath competitions must be fresh balsam and double faced on a 12 inch ring and measure 22 inches in diameter. Wreath makers all over Maine are nodding their heads. Got it.

How can you incorporate blueberries into your wreath?

There are cash prizes.

And don't worry blueberry lovers there are plenty of ways the fair involves blueberries that also includes your stomach.

And you will be involved in one of the most popular fairs in the area. Here is all the information you’ll need for the Blue Hill Fair.
