God, family, country, and blue collar roots—in that order … that pretty much describes me. I'm a Mainer through and through. After dusting off the snow, I stumbled out of Presque Isle, Maine, back in the late 70’s to attend UMaine, and have never left the Bangor area since. From farm work, logging, aviation, education, and broadcasting, you might say I've lived an adventurous life. I love my wife (the bumper sticker on my truck says so), children, grandkids, church family, my crazy dogs, my ‘ol ‘97 GMC truck, motorcycle, country music, and a cold one once in a while to take the edge off. Be sure to listen in weekday afternoons on Maine’s Fun Country Station…Q-106.5.

Jurassic World Movie Trailer is Killer [VIDEO]
I thoroughly enjoyed the Jurrasic Park movies when they hit the big screen, and when I found out the new 'Jurassic World' movie is due for release next June, I was beside myself.

Daredevil’s Climb Will Have You Feeling Dizzy [VIDEO]

Beer Muscles Put to Good Use in England [VIDEO]
I've seen displays countless times while working on a college campus where inebriated young males would suddenly get loud and boisterous and then grow beer muscles. How Cobblers Make Shoe Magic [VIDEO]
Although there's a new shoe repair business in downtown Bangor, there was a time when many in the area visited the Yankee Shoe Repair. I was always fascinated on how they would take my old footwear and make them new again--sometimes better than new...
Retriever and Shepherd in Spaghetti Eating Contest [VIDEO]
Shirley and I have two wonderful dogs that we just adore. Not only are they fun-loving companions, but their personalities are totally different which makes for some interesting and laughable moments.
Maggie is our one-eyed little old lady who has a personality that's pretty laid back, and Baxter is a Min-Pin with a high-level of energy, and it shows when you set food in front of him...
