The 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival -- set for June 13-15, 2014 -- will get its share of tattoos and black leather with the addition of Brantley Gilbert, who brings rock-infused country music and a fair amount of swagger to the stage.

Gilbert was born and raised in Jefferson, Ga. and cut his songwriting teeth on small town influence he was surrounded. The singer-songwriter, known for everything from the rowdy 'Kick It in the Sticks' to the ballad-driven 'My Kind of Crazy,' has one underlying theme in his lyrics: honesty. And his humble upbringing helped him shape his talents in obvious ways.

Gilbert dropped his debut album 'Modern Day Prodigal Son' in 2009 and followed it up with 'Halfway to Heaven,' which peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes Country Album charts and at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers album chart for all genres. Needless to say, Gilbert had found his niche in country rock n' roll.

With all of that exposure, the singer caught the eye of Valory Music Company in 2011 and signed with them. He has nabbed two No. 1 hits and three Gold singles since 2011, also earning a huge following of fans who have dubbed themselves "BG Nation." Somehow, he combines his bad boy image, insightful songwriting and honesty into a unique package that's absolutely irresistible to fans.

In addition to his own music, Gilbert has a compelling songwriting repertoire within the country music industry. Jason Aldean recorded Gilbert's 'The Best of Me,' as well as 'My Kinda Party' and 'Dirt Road Anthem,' which country fans will recognize as a huge hits for Aldean.

While at this year's country music and camping party at Hunter Mountain in New York, Gilbert will surely put on a great show -- as long as there's lots of bikinis and Daisy Dukes in the audience.

The 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival will also feature performances from Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Randy Houser, Thompson Square, Craig Morgan, Thomas Rhett and many more.  Visit the event's official website or Facebook page to stay up to date on the latest details!
