Zac Brown Band are giving fans another taste of what's to come on their new album with the release of "Family Table," another new track from the band's upcoming fifth studio album, Welcome HomeClick play above to watch the sweet lyric video for the new tune, which is Track No. 5 on the new record.

Since the announcement of the forthcoming release of their latest album back in January, ZBB have been promising a return to their roots following their genre-bending 2015 album Jekyll + Hyde, and so far, that promise has been spot on. The band's first single from Welcome Home, "My Old Man" was a perfect country ballad in honor of the parents who raise us, while another released-in-advance song, "Real Thing," brings to life the Zac Brown Band's signature sound, with Zac Brown's crisp vocals highlighted by the harmonies of his bandmates. Now, with the debut of "Family Table," ZBB are picking up on one of the most-sung-about themes in country music: family.

Paying tribute to the joys of sharing a meal with friends and family around one big table, "Family Table" is a nostalgic ode to all things community. Anchored by Brown's vocals and Jimmy De Martini’s fiddle, "Family Table" is a quintessential song for summer, crafted to pair well with backyard barbecues, lakeside lounges and family dinners. Featuring images of children playing outside around a massive table overflowing with food, the song's accompanying black-and-white lyric video perfectly encapsulates the track's lyrics.

“It's just an old piece of wood / On top of four legs / It's got a few coffee stains / And a thousand marks from God knows when / There ain’t too many things that could stand the test of time / But this family table’s held together by love that never dies," Brown sings in the first verse of "Family Table," leading to the song's catchy chorus: "So won’t you come on in? Supper’s almost done / Go ahead and call your friends, 'cause we got room for everyone / Let's make some memories around this nine-foot pine / Pull up a chair and stay awhile / At the family table."

Welcome Home is set for release on May 12. The song "Family Table," as well as the entire album, was crafted by veteran producer Dave Cobb, who's worked with everyone from Sturgill Simpson to Chris Stapleton.

In addition to the release of their new album, the Zac Brown Band’s 2017 Welcome Home Tour will also kick off on May 12. The band will play more than 40 shows across North America through the end of October.
