Woman Unhurt In Rollover Crash On Icy Road In Northern Maine

Police say a woman in northern Maine was involved in an accident after her vehicle lost traction on an ice-covered road in northern Maine Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred as the woman, Barbara Kelly, 62, of St. Francis, was driving up a hill on New Sweden Road in T16 R4 WELS, Maine State Police said in a news release.

Her vehicle started skidding on the slippery road, and then hit a snow bank, causing the vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its side.

Kelly was not hurt in the accident.
