Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Bangor Area Until Noon

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Bangor area and much of eastern Maine.

The advisory is in effect until noon.

The latest forecast is calling for 2-to-4 inches of snow for the area.

The timing of the storm was problematic for area school districts, many of which cancelled Friday classes.
