What Halloween Candy Do You Buy For Yourself
No matter what changes have to happen to make Halloween a safe one for all, it's still all about the candy. And sorry kids might not be going door to door to get their treats, but I'm not really thinking about them right now.
When I buy a bag of Halloween candy, I totally know full well that there's no hope that a kid is going to knock on my door. That candy is for selfish me. And with that thought in mind, what is the best Halloween candy you buy for yourself, not to hand out, but to hoard and chip away at for the next week or two.
Your answer is probably swayed by your age. Boomers list Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Milky Way as their favorites. Gen Zers, the youngest group, Twix and Hershey Bars among their faves.
Answers vary by areas of the country too. The favorite's in Maine are Sour Patch Kids, Starburst and M&Ms.
Since it's political season I will tell you how I'm voting, but I won't go negative on what your favorite candy is. The envelope please. And the winner is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Love them. Happy Halloween. No tricks.
