A weekend storm is expected to bring mostly rain and mixed precipitation to much of Maine this weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for mixed bag of weather this weekend. The storm is expected to impact the Bangor and Downeast areas Saturday night into Sunday. Coastal areas are forecast to see mostly rain, mixed precipitation is expected to the north of Bangor, and mainly snow for far northern areas.

The National Weather Service says "any snow accumulation from the storm looks to be an inch or less, but with 2 to 4 inches of snow possible in the western Saint John Valley and along the western Maine/Quebec border." Slight accumulations of freezing rain is also possible Saturday night into Sunday.
