Waterville Police Seize $100,000 Dollars in Drugs
Two people face charges after an investigation in Waterville that netted more than $100,000 dollars in heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine.
WCSH-TV reports the arrests of 30-year-old Toni Juliano of Canaan and 32-year-old Ambrose Wan of New York City were the result of an investigation that included the searches of two hotel rooms. In the latest search of Juliano's car and hotel room, Waterville Police seized nearly 283 grams of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine, seven sublingual Subxone strips, with a total street value of $45,000. In addition, police seized $38,000 in cash, which was found in the hotel room.
Three weeks ago, police searched a room at another local hotel, where they say Juliano had failed to pay her rent. Seized in that search were about 390 grams of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine. The result of both searches was about 672 grams of the three drugs with an estimated street value topping $100,000.
Juliano is charged with three counts of Class A aggravated trafficking in Schedule W drugs, four counts of Class B unlawful trafficking, criminal conspiracy, and two counts of violation of conditions of release.
Wan is charged with three counts of Class A aggravated trafficking, criminal conspiracy, Class D possession of Schedule W drugs, and operating without a license.
