
Maine Police Reopen 1 Lane of I-95 SB in Waterville
A bad crash that left 2 Maine DOT workers dead has closed one southbound lane of I-95 in Waterville on Tuesday.

Maine State Police have issued a traffic advisory for I-95 in the Waterville area due to a serious accident.
Officials say a chain-reaction crash between a minivan and tractor-trailer propelled the van into 3 Maine Department of Transportation employees who were working on the bridge.
Two of the workers, 60-year-old James Brown and 51-year-old Dwayne Campbell, both of Waterville, were propelled off the bridge and onto Kennedy Memorial Drive below. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third worker was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as was the minivan driver, 34-year-old Samantha Tupper of Augusta.
Traffic is Moving Slowly in the Waterville Area of I-95
Both southbound lanes were originally closed to traffic, but the police have issued an update.
Officials have reopened the left southbound lane of travel on I-95 in Waterville, but traffic is moving slowly.
The crash site is located a few miles south of Exit 130 in Waterville.
Drivers are advised to expect delays in Waterville and, if possible, avoid the area.
