Police are looking for a Skowhegan homeless veteran's next of kin after he was killed in a motorcycle accident.

Centralmaine.com reports 68-year-old Robert Dale Saveall died after his motorcycle crossed the center line of Route 202 in Monmouth and struck an SUV head-on. No one else was injured in the crash that happened just after 10 Friday night near the Winthrop town line. Police are investigating to try and determine what caused the bike to swerve. No charges are expected at this time.

The bike was registered to Saveall at a Skowhegan address, but police say he was a homeless veteran. Now, officials are trying to find his next of kin. Anyone with information about his family is asked to contact police in Monmouth.
