Two Men Face Charges In Lincoln Drug Bust
Two men face charges after drug agents raided their motel room in Lincoln and found heroin, methamphetamine, nearly $20,000 cash and a stolen handgun.
Jared Fogg, 27, of Florida and Maine, and Rogelio Rios, 29, of Florida, face multiple counts of aggravated drug trafficking. They were taken to the Penobscot County Jail. Their bail is set at $75,000.
Drug agents and police searched the men's room at the Briarwood Motor Inn on Friday, according to a news release.
MDEA Agents began to investigate reports of drug activity by the two men earlier in the week. Agents found the pair and put them under surveillance.
The investigation culminated with the search of Rios’ vehicle and the motel room which netted the seizure of 125 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 42 grams of heroin and more than $19,000 in cash. Two 9mm handguns were also seized, one of which was found to have been stolen.
