Two Bodies Found In South Paris Apartment [UPDATE]

State Police have released the identities of two people whose bodies were found inside a South Paris Apartment on New Year's Day.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland told WGME-TV the bodies of Heather Bickford and Dana Hill were found in an apartment next to the Market Square restaurant.

Both Bickford, who lived in Canton, and Hill, who rented the apartment, were 31 years old. Bickford's two children, ages 8 and 2 months, were in the apartment when the bodies were found by a man familiar with the couple called 911 at around 8:30 p.m. The children, who were not hurt, were turned over to the Department of Health and Human Services.

The bodies were taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office to determine cause of death.
