Traffic Alert: Accident Diverting Traffic Away from Valley Ave. in Bangor

An accident is prompting Bangor Police to ask drivers to avoid Valley Avenue, until further notice.

Details are still coming in about this accident, but WABI-TV reports one person has been taken to the hospital. Initial reports indicate a vehicle struck a pole, causing the vehicle to roll over.

Valley Avenue is closed, at Bruce Road, and drivers can expect significant delays. Police ask that motorists avoid the area, if at all possible.
