Three Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop in Bangor
Three people are facing drug charges after police stopped their vehicle on Interstate 95 in Bangor last week.
Karey Sinclair, 38, and Ernestine Chubbuck, 52, of Bangor as well as Robert Arrington, 33, of Brooklyn, New York, were arrested and taken to Penobscot County Jail where they were charged with unlawful trafficking of drugs.
The charges resulted after police stopped their vehicle for a traffic violation. However, during the stop, police conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and discovered 15 grams of suspected heroin, 2.7 grams of cocaine base and .25 grams of crystal methamphetamine. More than $3,600 in suspected proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs were also found, according to police.
