It's looking more and more like 2020 and 'Rona is indeed going to get in the way of Halloween.  Especially trick or treating, and going door to door. Thankfully there are events that are planned to attend for the whole family, but this one 'speaks to me'.

Challenger Learning Center in Bangor will host its first Pumpkin Catapult fundraiser. It's just what the name suggests.  First it is a fundraiser.  The cost to participate is $10. Proceeds to Challenger Learning Center to be used towards their programs.

It is advised you get tickets today, here's how, for the event that is tomorrow morning between 9 a.m. and Noon at the Challenger parking lot, 30 Venture Way in Bangor. When you get your ticket(s) you'll reserve a time slot, 9, 10, or 11 a.m.

Upon arriving you'll get a small pumpkin to decorate. Then you'll load the pumpkin on the catapult, step back, and watch it fly. Amazing us all, no matter what your age. You'll also receive a goodie bag that includes a small catapult kit to make at home. Can't beat catapult fun, right.

Why weren't catapults invented when we were kids. Enjoy the fun, and the Halloween candy. See you at the dentist on Monday.
