Here's a blast from the past, Johnny Cash jamming with Stephen King in Bangor.

On October 30, 1987, Johnny Cash performed at the Bangor Auditorium. According to an article published in The Daily Maine Campus, June Cash had wanted to meet King while in Bangor. Johnny and June had lunch with Stephen prior to the show, which must have spawned the idea of having King join him on stage that night.

According to the article, and King's Facebook post, they performed a cover of the Chuck Berry classic "Johnny B Goode." The article noted, "[King's] singing is almost as gruesome as his horror novels."

Included in his Bangor set were his mega hits "Ring Of Fire," "Heavy Metal (Don't Mean Rock and Roll to Me)," "Folsom Prison Blues," and "I Walk The Line."
