A suspect in a Millinocket murder is also wanted on similar charges in North Carolina.

43-year-old Tony Locklear is sought in connection with murders in two different states. In Maine, he's a suspect in a Millinocket home invasion that killed Wayne LaPierre and injured his wife. Police say Locklear and Christopher Murray allegedly shot the couple last month.

Now, a North Carolina newspaper, The Robesonian, reports that Locklear is also a suspect in a shooting in December that killed Braxton Chavis Jr. In that case, the victim's son called police to report that his father had been kidnapped. The man's body was later found in some woods.

Murray was arrested for the Maine murder last week, but officials continue to search for Locklear
