Stow Woman Accused Of Setting Her Own House On Fire
A woman who lived in the town of Stow is facing charges after allegedly burning down her own house.
Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 46-year-old Sara Neddenriep is charged with two counts of arson. The State Fire Marshal's Office says she was responsible for a fire on March 11th at 1092 Stow Road and she was arrested yesterday at a friend's home in Fryeburg.
Investigators believe Neddenriep set the fire just after midnight in the house that she shared with her 16-year-old daughter. No one was hurt in the blaze but the house was destroyed. There's no word on a motive for the fire.
Neddenriep was taken to the Oxford County Correctional Facility where bail was set at $50,000 cash.
