State Police Cruiser Strikes, Breaks Utility Pole In Brewer

State police say a trooper and the driver of a second car were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car crash in Brewer.

Police say the trooper was responding to a domestic violence call when the crash occurred at the intersection of North Main Street and Parkway North.

Both men were taken to EMMC for treatment of assorted injuries.

The cruiser struck and broke a utility pole.

Part of North Main Street was closed while crews cleaned up the accident.
