Jo Dee Messina Is Releasing Her First New Album in Over a Decade

The “Heads Carolina, Tails California” singer and New England native is releasing her new album, Bridges, on Friday, June 5th.

Jo Dee Messina is set to release Bridges, her first new album in more than a decade and her first since her 2014 album, Me.

The album’s first single, “Some Bridges,” focuses on change, moving forward, and knowing when it may be time to leave certain things behind.

“Some Bridges” was written by Messina, Kat Higgins, and James T. Slater, and mixed by Grammy-winning producer and engineer Chris Lord-Alge.

Lord-Alge also mixed several of Messina’s biggest songs, including “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” Messina’s new album is said to reflect the past decade of her life, touching on love, loss, struggle, faith, family, and the experiences that shaped the project.

And there you have it! On Friday, June 5th, Jo Dee Messina will release her first album since 2014, titled Bridges.
