Spaghetti At Dysart’s Tonight To Benefit The Pine Tree Camp
A spaghetti dinner being served tonight at Dysart's on Broadway in Bangor will benefit the Pine Tree Camp. Come eat!
The folks at Dysart's are incredibly supportive on the Pine Tree Camp for Children and Adults with Disabilities. They hold pancake breakfasts and spaghetti suppers, and are a major sponsor of the Dysart's Pine Tree Camp Snowmobile Ride-in. That ride-in is when the Q-106.5 Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride takes place, so we're pretty happy to support their fundraising efforts, as they support ours!
Tonight, between 5 and 7 p.m., you can get a delicious spaghetti dinner at Dysart's on Broadway for only $10, and the proceeds will be donated to the Pine Tree Camp. So, you're helping a great cause, and you get to dine on delicious Dysart's food. It doesn't get much better than that.
The money that's donated to the Pine Tree Camp helps make it possible for more kids to go to camp each summer. They have a no-child-turn-away policy, so no parent is ever told their kid can't go to camp because they're not able to pay the tuition. The parents are asked what they can afford, and YOUR donations cover the rest of the tuition. So the children get a chance to have a full camp experience, like everyone else. (including handicapped accessible trails, treehouse, and playground) And Mom and Dad get a respite from caregiving while knowing their children are being well cared for and having fun.
The Q-106.5 Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride is less than a week away and we really need your help. Make a donation all this week by calling 991-9500, by making a pledge online, or by making a direct donation with your credit card on our secure Firstgiving site. We have a LONG way to go this week to make it another successful fundraising year. Thank you in advance for helping us get there and send these kids to camp!
