On Sunday, December 8th, you will have the opportunity to skate with the University of Maine Bears' men's and women's hockey teams! It is a unique opportunity to meet the talented men and women hockey players from UMaine.

Whether you are on skates or on your feet, you will be able to take pictures with University of Maine's ice hockey athletes and collect as many autographs as possible. It is a popular event known as Skate with the Bears.

Here is How to Attend University of Maine's Skate with the Bears

Skate with the Bears will take place at Alfond Arena on Sunday, December 8th, and the event will occur after the men's ice hockey match against the Stonehill Skyhawks. The game begins at 3pm EST, so Skate with the Bears is expected to begin approximately around 6pm EST. You do not need a ticket to the game to be able to attend Skate with the Bears. 

Fans wishing to attend Skate with the Bears are not required to have a ticket to that day's game. HOWEVER, if you do not have a ticket to the game, you will not be allowed into Alfond Arena for the Skate with the Bears event until the conclusion of the game against Stonehill.

Skates are not permitted inside Alfond Arena, but there will be a limited supply of skates to rent.
