A fundraiser for the Waterville area humane society allows local residents to send their loved one a puppy to snuggle for a Valentine's Day donation.

I'm a dog person, who's currently without furry friend, so maybe i'm a little biased, but I think this is a brilliant idea. For a $50 donation to the Humane Society Waterville Area, their volunteers will make a special delivery to your sweetheart's workplace, including a card, a rose, and a puppy. Now, understand, they're not going to be able to keep the puppy. But, seriously, who wouldn't love to take a few minutes out of their work day to get puppy kisses?

As much as I'd love to get one of these, I would have a tough time giving the puppy back. But, maybe that's part of the plan. I mean, getting the young dogs into an office situation just might help them find their forever home.

There are some restrictions about how far away from the humane society the deliveries can be made. After all, they don't want to stress out the puppies who are already going into an unknown situation. But, if you work within that area, I'd go for it. Heck, I'd send myself a puppy gram, just so I could get some snuggles. Find more information about how to tell your loved one 'I WUFF YOU' on the HSWA Facebook page.
