It's hard to beat "The Mother Church," when it comes to top notch country music venues.

The Ryman Auditorium has been named the 2022 Venue of the Year at the CMA Touring Awards. It was an honor that the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire was nominated for, once again. Other nominees included the Ascend Amphitheater and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, as well as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Pictured above, Chrissy Hall from the Ryman Auditorium, accepted the award on the behalf of the venue.

This certainly wasn't the first time the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion was tapped as a nominee for the honor. The venue was nominated as Venue of the Year in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Similarly, the pavilion was nominated numerous times for an ACM Industry Award -Outdoor Venue of the Year. The venue has been a nominee for the honor in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

The 2022 CMA Touring Awards were handed out on January 30, at Marathon Music Works in Nashville.
