Registration is Open Now for the Magical Maine Witch Walk 2024
Put on your dancing shoes and grab your broom for the Maine Witch Walk, later this month.
Maine Witch Walk is Open to All Ages, Witches, Warlocks, and Mortals
This event is not exclusive to witches. Warlocks are welcome, as well, to put on their best witch/warlock duds and join the fun on the Bangor Waterfront on Saturday, October 26th. It's open to all ages, too, so the young ones can don their pointy hats and get ready to dance.

Walk, Dance, and Shop at the Maine Witch Walk Later This Month
If you haven't heard of the Maine Witch Walk, it takes place every October in Bangor and includes a walk through downtown and then a group dance on the Waterfront. Now, before you worry that you're not a good dancer, it's an easy one to learn. I recorded the dance a few years ago and wished I'd signed up because it looks like a lot of fun.
This event has grown so much since I took that video, though! It's not only a walk and a dance, but also a chance for people (witches, warlocks, or mortals) to shop at the Goblin vendor market. There will be speakers, music, and drum circles, as well.
Witch Walk Organizers Say Maine is a Magical Place That Should Celebrate Its Value
Jill Packard, owner of the Charmed store in Brewer, and her husband Chris, author of 'Mythical Creatures of Maine' created the event. According to Jill, it's an effort to call attention to the spooky value offered in the Bangor area.
We have Stephen King, we have Mt. Hope cemetery full of rich history, we have the Brewer Witches, so many of our local businesses allude to the mystical and magical like Nocturnem on Main Street. We have a whole Witch Way here in Maine, starting in Portland and ending here in the North.
She says she hopes this event helps others to see the state's magical value.
More information about the Maine Witch Walk and the registration form can be found on the event's website. Sign up now and start planning your costume. October 26th will be here before you know it.
