Puppy Kissing Booth for Valentines Day in Lewiston
Some say Valentine’s Day is the ‘worst holiday’ of the year. But no need to rain on anyone’s parade.
Celebrate if you will. Don’t if you don’t want to. Don’t let any of the negative feelings attach, and tomorrow will be another day.
If someone doesn’t call you. Reach out.
On Valentine’s Day, a lot of pet owners give their pets extra treats and gifts. Can’t imagine that a pet knows it’s Valentine’s Day, but they sure aren’t turning anything down today if they are getting special attention. Most pet owners are happy when their pets are happy.
Last week there was the story about The Humane Society for Greater Waterville’s fundraiser where for a donation they put the name of your ex on a piece of paper and put the piece of paper into the cat’s litter box. So poop on your ex is an attention-getting way to raise much-needed funds for a Humane Society.
Here is another one.
Today between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston gets creative with a fundraiser. A Puppy Kissing Booth. For a minimum one-dollar donation, GAHS alumni will shower you with love and kisses.
Anyone with or without a Valentine will smile, especially on the inside, with this attention. "How much is that doggy in the window."
And there are no calories involved, unlike that bag of M&Ms or box of chocolates.
On a cold winter day, this promises to be a great way to warm at least your heart.
And it is win win for the animals too
