[UPDATE] Local Man Killed In Holden Crash

A crash Thursday afternoon on Route 1A in Holden took the life of a local man, according to media reports.

WCSH/WLBZ reports that police identified the man as Derick Warren, 30, of Orland.

The two-vehicle crash occurred near Maine Military Supply.

Police at 5:30 p.m. said the road was closed in both directions and would likely remain shut down for much of the evening.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
